ISRO docked two SpaDeX spacecraft on 16 January 2025 and later demonstrated undocking and power transfer. The programme made India the fourth country to demonstrate space-docking technology.
Following the 22 April Pahalgam terrorist attack, India launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May against nine sites it identified as terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Several days of military exchanges followed before the two DGMOs agreed to halt firing and military action from 17:00 IST on 10 May.
The Indian government initially described the strikes as focused, measured and non-escalatory and said Pakistani military facilities were not targeted. A 12 May government account called the suspension of counter-operations temporary, so this card does not describe 10 May as the conclusive end of the operation.
